Stan Shih (Chinese: 施振榮; pinyin: Shī Zhènróng; b. December 18, 1944 in Rokkō Town (鹿港街), Shōka District (彰化郡) of Taichū Prefecture, Japanese Taiwan) is founder, president, and chairman of Acer Inc.. In 1976, after receiving Bachelor's and master's degrees in Electronic Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Shih founded Multitech with his wife Carolyn Yeh and five partners.
