Stangvik is a village and former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located along the Stangvikfjorden in the present-day Surnadal Municipality, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of the villages of Surnadalsøra and Skei. The village is home to Stangvik Church. The former municipality of Stangvik (historically spelled Stangvig) encompassed much of the area surrounding the Trongfjorden and the smaller fjords that branch off of it.
