Steve Balbi played bass in the hit-making Australian band Noiseworks, and was also in Electric Hippies along with fellow Noiseworks member Justin Stanley. Prior to Noiseworks, he was in Rose Tattoo, and prior to Rose Tattoo was in a band with his cousins called The Apaches, who performed 'Fox on the Run' on the TV Talent show 'Pot of Gold' in 1976. Balbi has also worked with David Bowie, Tom Jones, Jenny Morris, and Michael Hutchence, among others.
