Stephen Alan "Steve" Harper (born 14 March 1975) is an English footballer who last played for Hull City as a goalkeeper. He is best known for his time playing at Newcastle United, having amassed 157 league appearances over a twenty-year period between 1993 and 2013. Such was the longevity of his Newcastle career that, in August 2012, Harper became the longest-serving player in the club's history.
