Stichius is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). Its single described species is found in Sumatra. The species is only known from a single male described in 1890. From the drawing of the male palp in Proszynski (1984), Stichius appears to be close to Harmochirus. The species name is taken from Greek mythology (Στιχίος, a commander of the Athenians in the Trojan war in Homer's Iliad).
