Stony Point is an unincorporated community in Monroe County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is a census-designated place (CDP) used for statistical purposes and does not have any legal status as an incorporated municipality. The population was 1,724 at the 2010 census.The community is in Frenchtown Charter Township on the shore of Lake Erie about 7 miles (11 km) northeast of downtown Monroe.
