Super Ox Wars is an arcade vertical-scrolling shooter game for iOS devices developed by Jeff Minter and Ivan Zorzin of Llamasoft and published via the Apple App Store. The game is the first vertically scrolling shooter that Llamasoft have produced, and is based on such games as Xevious and Star Force.The game belongs to a sub-class of shooters called polarity shooters (the most notable example of which is Ikaruga) where gameplay elements interact differently based on their colour.
