Taliska is a constructed language devised by fantasy writer J. R. R. Tolkien. It is one of the many fictional languages set in his secondary world, commonly known as Middle-earth, as part of the Lord of the Rings universe.Taliska was based on the Gothic language. Gothic was an early interest of Tolkien.
