"The Blood Line" is the tenth and final episode of the fourth series and the last episode of the British science fiction television series Torchwood, and was first broadcast in the United States on Starz on 9 September 2011. In 2012, creator Russell T Davies announced that the show will be on indefinite hiatus, citing personal reasons, making "The Blood Line" the default series finale.
