The Fever Code is the second prequel to the The Maze Runner series by James Dashner. It is expected to be published in 2016. Dashner said that he always wanted to write about how the rest of the Gladers got to the maze and what they did before Thomas entered the box, therefore the book is set in a time before The Maze Runner and after The Kill Order. The novel will be on Thomas' point of view with the entanglement of other Gladers.
