"The Future Freaks Me Out" is a song by the pop punk band Motion City Soundtrack. It features on their debut album, I Am the Movie and was released as their first single in Europe.The B-side for the CD single was "1000 Paper Cranes", which originally featured on I Am the Movie (the version released by the band while unsigned) but was the only song missing for the Epitaph CD release.The song has become a crowd favorite at Motion City Soundtrack shows.
