"The Human Operators" is the seventh episode of season five of the revived 1960s science-fiction television series The Outer Limits. It is based on a science fiction short story by Harlan Ellison and A. E. van Vogt, first published in the January 1971 issue of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. It first aired on 12 March 1999.
