The Killa Chronicles is rapper Cam'Ron's sixth major release under Asylum Records/Diplomat Records. It was originally titled Shade of Black and was set for release by December 2006. However, the album has been continuously pushed back for undisclosed reasons. On April 4, 2007, Cam'Ron stated that he will be renaming his sixth studio album "Courtesy Curtis" because of the beef between himself and fellow New York rapper, 50 Cent.
