The Latency was a Canadian pop rock band from Maple Ridge. They formed in 2006 from the remains of three previous bands. They have since signed to Maple Music and released their self-titled debut album on September 8, 2009. They were scheduled to be releasing a second album in 2011, however the band broke up before the recording process was finished.On September 1, 2010 it was announced through a Ustream chat that drummer Jonny Wiebe had left the band.
