The Stone Pilot (2006) is a short novella in the Edge Chronicles series, created by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell.Like the novella Cloud Wolf, The Stone Pilot was specially written and published for World Book Day.This book follows the character of Maugin, "the Stone Pilot"; a Termagant Trog who never turned termagant. She is of twelve seasons of the Bloodoak at the start of the book where she leaves the safety of the trog caverns where she lived and is captured by slavers.
