Thesprotia (/θɛsˈproʊʃə/; Greek: Θεσπρωτία) is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the Epirus region. Its capital is the town of Igoumenitsa. It is named after the Thesprotians, an ancient Greek tribe that inhabited the region in antiquity.
