The 3rd Don Crossing/Third Don Crossing is being constructed by Balfour Beatty and is planned to open in February 2016. The single carriageway bridge is going to connect Gordon's Mills Road to the south and Fairview Street to the North. The bridge will allow traffic going from Danestone to Aberdeen's City Centre without having to go through the notorious Haudagain Roundabout or take a detour down the Parkway and along Ellon Road and King Street.
