Thom Mayer is an American physician. He serves as the medical director of the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA), CEO of the physician group Best Practices, and is a clinical professor of medicine at George Washington University. His work in the diagnosis and treatment of concussions by the NFL has led to policy changes that treat concussions more seriously.
