Tom Blankenship is an American rock musician. He currently plays bass guitar for the Louisville, Kentucky band My Morning Jacket. In 2012, Blankenship wrote an article on My Morning Jacket, discussing the band and growing up in Louisville, for the July issue of Louisville Magazine. Bandmates Jim James and Patrick Hallahan also wrote articles for the issue.
