Thomas Michael "Tom" Reilly III (born June 18, 1959) is an American actor, known for his role as Officer Bobby "Hot Dog" Nelson in CHiPs, a television series about the motorcycle officers of the California Highway Patrol.Tom Reilly was born in Fort Riley North, Kansas to Tom and Connie Reilly and grew up in Bergenfield, New Jersey. He has two younger sisters, Judy and Patty.
