Tyrone Mitchell (October 17, 1955 – February 24, 1984) was an American who killed two people and wounded twelve others when shooting at students leaving 49th Street Elementary School in South Central Los Angeles, California on February 24, 1984. Mitchell then committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a double-barreled shotgun.
