The University of Missouri–St. Louis Triton athletic programs compete in NCAA Division II and are members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.Athletic activities for students, including intercollegiate athletics, campus recreation, and intramurals, support the University of Missouri–St. Louis's mission to educate the whole person. The development and education of the whole student includes academic achievement as well as promoting students' health and mind, spirit and body.
