Vandanam is a 1989 Malayalam romantic comedy thriller film directed by Priyadarshan. The film stars Mohanlal, Mukesh, Girija Shettar, Nedumudi Venu, M.G. Soman, Jagadish, Sukumari, Ganesh Kumar, Maniyanpilla Raju, and Cochin Haneefa. This was the follow-up film of Priyadarshan and producer P. K. R. Pillai after the commercially successful Chithram (1988).The story of the film is loosely based on the 1987 American film Stakeout. Priyadarshan later remade it as the Telugu film Nirnayam (1991).
