Vaura is an experimental band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2009 by singer, guitarist and primary songwriter Joshua Strawn and featuring Kevin Hufnagel of Dysrhythmia and Gorguts on lead guitar, Toby Driver of Kayo Dot and Secret Chiefs 3 on bass, and Charlie Schmid on drums.Vaura's debut LP Selenelion was released on Wierd Records in February 2011.
