Veli-Matti Savinainen (born January 5, 1986) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward who currently plays for Leksands IF in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He has previously played for Finnish Liiga club, Ässät and HC Ugra of the Russian, Kontinental Hockey League. He Joined Leksands IF on a one-year contract on August 30, 2014 after spending the 2013-14 season with Ugra.
