Valiyangode Umer Qazi ( Arabic:عمر القاضي بلنكوتي, Malayalam: വെളിയങ്കോട്ട് ഉമര്‍ ഖാസി(റ) ) the mystic leader and Muslim scholar, was a freedom fighter and poet. He pioneered the Civil disobedience movement by denying to pay the tax to British government in British India. He was a companion of Sayyid Alawi Moula Daweela also known as Mampuram Thangal. He fetched the position in Indian Arabic poet by composing lines under the poetic meter.
