Venomous Concept is a grindcore and hardcore punk band. The band's name is a play on Poison Idea, in the style of name-mangling Japanese hardcore acts. Venomous Concept was formed by Kevin Sharp and Shane Embury in 2004. They were joined by Danny Herrera and Buzz Osborne. Osborne was later replaced by Danny Lilker.Venomous Concept have released two albums: Retroactive Abortion (2004) and Poisoned Apple (2008).
