Maurice "Verse" Simmonds is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Simmonds has self-identified his vocal stylings and production as "R&B, hip-hop, reggae and calypso." Raised in the Virgin Islands, he moved to the United States after high school and he formed the production duo the Jugganauts in the 1990s.
