The station is owned by the Cox Media Group, a subsidiary of Atlanta-based Cox Enterprises. WPXI's offices and studios are located on Evergreen Road in the Summer Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh, and its transmitter is located on Television Hill in the Fineview section of the city, on the site of the station's original studio location.
