WSYR (570 AM) is a 5,000 watt radio station licensed to Syracuse, New York. Owned and operated by iHeartMedia, Inc., it broadcasts a talk radio format under the moniker "Newsradio 570 WSYR." The station has simulcast on WSYR-FM (106.9 FM) since January 2011; while initially the simulcast primarily promoted the 106.9 FM frequency, in 2013 WSYR began to reemphasize the 570 AM frequency.WSYR is Syracuse's heritage radio station.
