The Walloon Legion (French: Légion Wallonie) was a unit of volunteers from Wallonia, the French-speaking area of Belgium, who served in the Wehrmacht, later in the Waffen SS, during World War II. It saw action on the Eastern Front.In September 1944, the Sturmbrigade had its status raised to that of a division, but its strength never reached more than a brigade.
