The script, based on the self-published novel Insecurity by Eric Troyer, was co-written by Eric Troyer & Heather Hale. Produced by the same duo, the film starred Edward Furlong, Grace Johnston, Rick Ravanello, Brian Krause, Meat Loaf, and Ed Asner.
