The Cordovan Pyralid Moth (Acrobasis exsulella) is a species of snout moths in the genus Acrobasis. It was described by Zeller in 1848, and is known from the southeastern United States.There are two generations per year.The larvae feed on Carya species, including Carya tomentosa and Carya illinoensis. Larvae of the first generation bore in the buds of their host plant. The species overwinters in the larval stage. Larvae of the second generation initially feed in groups of five to ten.
