Adam Carr Bell (November 11, 1847 – October 30, 1912) was a Canadian politician.Born in Pictou, Nova Scotia, the son of Basil Bell and Mary Carr, Bell was educated in New Glasgow, Sackville Academy, and Glasgow University. From 1876 to 1877, he was the first mayor of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia (he was mayor again from 1884 to 1885). He was elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in 1878. In 1882, he was Provincial Secretary in the cabinet of John Thompson.
