Alexander Kops (born 23 November 1984) is a Dutch politician, he has been a member of the Senate for the Party for Freedom since 8 July 2014. He succeeded Marcel de Graaff, who was elected to the European Parliament.In 2003 he obtained his propaedeutics as a German language teacher at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Kops then studied German at Leiden University between 2004 and 2009. He started as a teacher of German at a high school in Leiderdorp in 2008.
