Ansar Youth Project (often abbreviated as AYP) is a youth Led organisation based in the London Borough of Brent and Harrow, co-founded by Mohammed Sadiq Mamdani and a group of young people of mainly Muslim backgrounds in August 2005 after the 7/7 London bombings, who were concerned about the lack of faith and culturally sensitive youth services which encouraged Muslim youth to play an active role in society.
