Battlestars is an American game show that aired on NBC during the 1980s. Two editions of the show were produced.The first Battlestars series was Merrill Heatter's first solo production since the retirement of his production partner, Bob Quigley, in 1981 and the dissolution of their production company, Heatter-Quigley Productions. Under the guidance of Merrill Heatter Productions, Battlestars premiered on October 26, 1981 and ended on April 23, 1982.
