Beverley Owen (née Ogg, sometimes credited as Beverly Owen) (born May 13, 1937) is a classically trained American actress perhaps most widely known for having played the original role of Marilyn Munster during the first season of The Munsters. However, she disliked the role and only accepted out of contractual obligations to Universal Studios (who produced the sitcom, for CBS). After 13 episodes, Owen left the program to get married, and was replaced in the role by second portrayer Pat Priest.
