It is native to the southwestern United States (Arizona, New Mexico) and Mexico (Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa, Michoacán, Baja California, Baja California Sur).Bidens lemmonii is an annual herb up to 30 cm (12 inches) tall.
