Christian Hansen (10 April 1885 – 7 August 1972) was a highly decorated General der Artillerie in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the 16. Armee. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Christian Hansen retired from the Wehrmacht on 31 December 1944, because of illness. He died in 1972.
