Coregonus bavaricus, known as the kilch or Ammersee-Kilch in German, is a species of freshwater whitefish in the family Salmonidae. It is endemic to the Ammersee lake in Bavaria, where it is pelagic in deep water. It is considered a critically endangered species by the IUCN Red List, since it is only found in an area of 10 square kilometres (3.9 sq mi), and has only been recorded three times since 2000. Between 1951 and 2003 only three specimens have been caught.
