Craven is a village in Saskatchewan. It is located northeast of Lumsden, Saskatchewan in the Qu'Appelle Valley. It lies between the rural municipalities of Longlaketon No. 219 and Lumsden No. 189. As of the Canada 2011 Census tt has a population of 234.Craven was founded in 1882 by Colonel Stone and was originally called Sussex. The original settlement was located a half a mile east from the present site.Craven is host to an annual country music festival called the Craven Country Jamboree.
