The Scarce Wormwood (Cucullia artemisiae) is a species of moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from central and southern Europe to the Korean Peninsula and Japan and from western Siberia to Manchuria. It is also present in Turkey and central Asia.The wingspan is 37–42 mm. Adults are on wing from June to July.The larvae feed on Artemisia species, including Artemisia absinthium, Artemisia campestris and Artemisia vulgaris. Other recorded food plants include Matricaria and Tanacetum vulgare.
