David Sims (born 1969) is a British marine biologist who is a Senior Research Fellow and Deputy Director for Research at the Laboratory of the Marine Biological Association (MBA) in Plymouth, and a Professor of Marine Ecology in the National Oceanography Centre Southampton at the University of Southampton, U.K.He works in the field of behavioural ecology researching animal movement and dispersal processes, particularly of marine predators such as sharks.
