The Defense of Van (also known as the Siege of Van or Van Resistance to the Armenians (Armenian: Վանի հերոսամարտ) Vani herosamart) and Van Rebellion or Van Revolt to the Turks (Turkish: Van İsyanı/İhtilâli), was an insurgency against the Ottoman Empire.
