He is a James Madison University alumni.In May 6, 2012, Bowles helped the B-Meg Llamados to win the 2012 PBA Commissioner's Cup championship. He was fouled with 1.2 seconds left in the championship game, and nailed both free throws to send the game into overtime and win 90-84.
