In Islam, the Devil is known as Iblīs (Arabic: إبليس, plural: ابالسة abālisah), Shayṭān (Arabic: شيطان, plural: شياطين shayāṭīn) or Shaitan. In Islam, Iblis is a jinn who refused to bow for Adam.
