Doug Mello is an American soccer coach and the head coach of the newly formed Carroll College men’s soccer team. He holds the record for the number of collegiate games coached and was the 1995 USISL Premier League Coach of the Year.Mello graduated from Lewis S. Mills High School where he played soccer and was an All State track athlete. He attended Aquinas College in Michigan. He graduated in 1978. In 1979, Aquinas hired Mello as its men’s soccer coach.
