Douglas Tyndall Wright, OC (born October 4, 1927) is a Canadian civil engineer, civil servant, and former university administrator.Born in Toronto, Ontario, he received a B.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto in 1949, a Master of Science degree in 1952 from the University of Illinois, and a Ph.D. from University of Cambridge in 1954.In 1954, he joined the Department of Civil Engineering at Queen's University becoming Associate Professor by 1958.
