Doveridge is a village and Civil parish in Derbyshire, United Kingdom, near the border with Staffordshire and about 2 km (1.2 mi) east of Uttoxeter. Its name comes from its bridge over the river Dove (i.e. Dove(B)ridge), a tributary of the River Trent.Doveridge has a pub, the "Cavendish Arms", a village shop, and a working men's club.
